Building 074, Room 00-014Hey, I’m Tom, a PhD Candidate at the ELLIS Institute in Tübingen and a member of the AutoML Lab in Freiburg, supervised by Frank Hutter. My main research interests are Agentic Systems, Prompt Optimization, and Fine Tuning of Foundation Models.
I finished my Masters in Statistics and Data Science at the LMU in 2025, and worked for Airbus from 2020 to 2025 as a Dual Student and Data Scientist.
I coauthored the Prompt Optimization Algorithm CAPO, as well as the Prompt Optimization Library Promptolution.
